Updates from Katie

This is Katie, and I've been given executive power to start updating our team notes. So...where to start?Phase 1 in India is already happening!!!!! How awesome is that?

Step One: Fantastic Thank-You/Meet and Greet/Bon Voyage Dessert Gala.

Hosted at Samantha's home, we were able to meet and thank those who have supported this endeavour--the UCR faculty, some of the ARTSBlock students, colleagues from ICFOR, friends, family. We were also given the gift of inspiring quotes that everyone brought to read. It was generally incredible, especially given the fact that it was very literally the eve of the first trip (and, in fact, Samantha was all of 20 minutes from leaving for LA by the end of the party!).
Step Two: Aniee, Eamon, and Samantha get to India and begin running around. They'll need to fill in the details, but in the meantime I'll post some much-needed photographic evidence of what they've been doing with the students in India.
